How the 60 minutes are spent
Minutes are time in the room with your therapist, including a 5-minute talk at the start.
- A short talk first5 minHân asks how your skin feels after you wash it in the morning, what you use at home, any scent you dislike and anywhere you would rather not be touched.
- Cleanse10 minMake-up off if you wear any, then a mild cleanser and warm water. You lie on your back for the whole session.
- Warm towel5 minA warm towel (warm, not hot) over the face and neck. Hân checks the temperature with you before the second one.
- Mask15 minOne mask over the face and neck. You lie still with your eyes closed; Hân stays in the room and tells you before she takes it off.
- Face and neck massage20 minThe mask comes off and Hân massages the face and neck with cream. Light pressure, a slow pace; say so if you want it lighter.
- Moisturiser, then up slowly5 minA thin layer of moisturiser and you sit up in your own time. Hân notes what you liked for next time.
The gentle cleanse is the plain, everyday facial at Lụa Spa (lụa means silk): 60 minutes in the room for 790,000 VND. That price includes 8% VAT and no tip is expected. The 60 minutes include a five-minute talk at the start.
What happens
Four things, always in this order: cleanse, warm towel, mask, face and neck massage. The towel is warm enough to make you breathe a little slower and never hot enough to make you hold your breath. The massage is the longest part, about 20 minutes on the face and neck.
What is not in it: extractions, machines, steam blown at your face, strong scrubs. This is skin care and an hour of quiet. We do not treat skin and we do not promise how it will look afterwards.
Who does it
Hân does every facial at Lụa Spa. She has twelve years of skin care work in Ho Chi Minh City behind her and keeps a notebook of what each client likes (towel warmth, the cream, how firm her hands should be), never a list of skin “problems”. She is off on Mondays, so this facial runs Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 21:30.
Compared with the sessions next to it
- Deep hydration: 75 minutes, 1,090,000 VND. The same steps with a second mask and a longer massage. People whose skin often feels tight tend to pick it.
- Face massage: 45 minutes, 590,000 VND. Massage of the face, neck and scalp edge only, without the cleanse and mask.

Booking
Pick a day and one of Hân’s free times, at least 3 hours ahead. No deposit. Change or cancel free until 12 hours before.
Call first, or choose another session, if
- An open wound or broken skin on the face: no facial until it has healed.
- A skin condition a doctor is treating: please ask your doctor first. A hair wash or foot soak can still be booked.
- Skin that feels warm, stingy or red when touched: the Calming facial (unscented, no exfoliation, no steam) is the better fit.
Lụa Spa offers non-invasive skin care and relaxation. We do not inject, use lasers or needling, prescribe, diagnose, or replace a doctor.

Questions about this session
Do you do extractions in this facial?
No. Lụa Spa does not do extractions, machines, injections, lasers or needling. This session is a cleanse, a warm towel, a mask and a massage.
Can I book it on a Monday?
No. Hân is off on Mondays and she is the only one who does this facial. If Monday is your only free day, Chi does the 45-minute face massage (590,000 VND) that day.
Do I need to arrive without make-up?
No need. Hân takes it off during the cleanse. On a first visit, please come 10 minutes early.
