How the 45 minutes are spent
Minutes are time in the room with your therapist, including a 5-minute talk at the start.
- A short talk, oil or cream5 minYour therapist asks how firm you like it, whether you want oil or cream, any scent you dislike and anywhere you would rather not be touched.
- Neck and nape10 minYou lie on your back. It starts at the neck and nape, slowly, in time with your breathing.
- Face20 minForehead, around the eyes, cheekbones, chin and jaw. Light pressure; say if you want it lighter or firmer.
- Scalp edge5 minAlong the hairline and the edge of the scalp at the forehead and temples. Your hair stays dry.
- Wipe off, then up slowly5 minThe oil or cream is wiped off with a towel and you sit up in your own time.
The face massage is the shortest facial at Lụa Spa: 45 minutes in the room for 590,000 VND, with 8% VAT included and no tip expected. The time includes a five-minute talk at the start.
What happens
Massage and nothing else: neck and nape, the face, then the scalp edge. You choose oil or cream before it starts. There is no cleanse, no warm towel, no mask and no machine. Your hair stays dry, so it fits into a lunch break with time to get back to your desk.
We make no promises about how your face will look afterwards. It is 45 minutes lying still while someone works slowly over your face and neck.
Who does it
Two people: Hân, who does all the facials, and Chi, who does the herbal hair washes. Hân is off on Mondays and Chi on Wednesdays, so there is someone every day of the week. On Monday this is the only facial on the menu. Pick a name when you book or leave it open.
Next to the other sessions
- Gentle cleanse: 60 minutes, 790,000 VND. Cleanse, warm towel and mask before the face and neck massage.
- The rest of the facials: deep hydration (75 minutes) and the calming facial (60 minutes).
- The Light Afternoon package (Gói Chiều Nhẹ) ends with this face massage, after a 60-minute body massage and a 45-minute herbal hair wash. 150 minutes for 1,490,000 VND, 150,000 VND less than booking the three separately.

No deposit. Book at least 3 hours ahead; change or cancel free until 12 hours before.

- An open wound or broken skin on the face: no facial until it has closed.
- A skin condition a doctor is treating: please ask your doctor before booking.
- You react to scents or oils: tick that box when booking and the front desk will call before confirming.

Is there a cleanse or a mask?
No. This one is massage only: face, neck and scalp edge. For a cleanse, warm towel and mask, book the 60-minute gentle cleanse at 790,000 VND.
Can I book it while pregnant?
Yes. We do not take body massage during pregnancy, but a face massage is fine. Tick the pregnancy box when booking so the front desk can call you first.
Should I pick Hân or Chi?
Both do this session. Hân is off on Mondays, Chi on Wednesdays. Choose a name when you book, or leave it open and we place whoever is free.
