I ask about pressure at the start, then again after ten minutes. What you want at first and what you want once you have settled are often different.
Hằng trained in massage at a spa in Sài Gòn in 2012 and has fourteen years of massage behind her. She has been at Lụa Spa since 2023 and heads the body massage team.
How she works
Every session starts with a question about pressure and about where you feel heavy today. For the essential oil massage she opens three bottles (lemongrass, pomelo, jasmine) for you to smell and pick one. That session is not offered to anyone who tells us they react to scents; the front desk will suggest the relaxing massage with unscented base oil instead. For hot stone, she lets you feel the warmth of a basalt stone on your forearm before any go on your back.
Hằng does most of the essential oil and hot stone sessions at Lụa Spa, and she is the only one who does the essential oil massage.
The sessions she does
- Body massage: relaxing body massage, 60 minutes (690,000 VND) and 90 minutes (890,000 VND); essential oil, 90 minutes (950,000 VND); hot stone, 90 minutes (990,000 VND); neck and shoulders, 45 minutes (490,000 VND); herbal foot soak and foot massage, 60 minutes (490,000 VND).
- The body massage in the Light Afternoon, Still and For Two packages.
She writes the journal pieces on body massage, including hot stone, essential oil or relaxing massage.
Working days
Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 21:30. She is off on Sundays, so there is no essential oil massage on a Sunday; Tài still does the relaxing and hot stone massages that day.
